What we’re looking for:

This is not an entry-level position. You bring the experience and confidence needed to speak up, share your insights, and ask tough questions. The top candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Ability to own and drive content strategy based on keyword research
  • Experience with SEO tools such as SEMRush/Ahrefs
  • Knowledge of SEO and the ability to apply your knowledge to written content (both your own and others’)
  • Adept at various forms of content, short and long format. For example, case studies, blog posts, website content
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Familiarity with backend content management


  • Develop content strategy working closely with leadership to align content objectives to overall organizational marketing goals
  • Execute content strategy, supporting hands on where needed and managing resources (internal and freelance) where needed
  • Own written content across all platforms
  • Incorporate SEO best practices into your content
  • Serve as a written content SME that can critically review copy, sharing experience and providing leadership in the content arena
  • Manage / mentor Marketing Coordinator

Specific areas of support will include:

  • Content creation - blog strategy and content creation, landing pages, website copy support, and other content that drives performance
  • Email marketing - assist with strategy and manage execution including copywriting, testing, measuring and optimizing email campaigns


You are/ have:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business and/or marketing certifications, courses
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proven track record of strong written communication
  • A strong understanding of foundational marketing principles and the ability to translate them across multiple mediums
  • You're resourceful and self-motivated with a bias for action
  • Strong executor ie. strong project management skills
  • Agency experience a plus

Aviron is based in Toronto but much of our current team is remote, spanning across Canada, the U.S. and Asia. If you are not local to Toronto this role will be remote. If you are local, it will be mostly remote/ flexible
