Position Overview:

As our Graphic Designer you will be playing a vital role in enhancing the Aviron brand identity across all channels. You will be responsible for delivering effective, aesthetic, on-brand, and on-strategy creative for a variety of creative material for print, online, promotional etc. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of graphic design, styles, and techniques and also have experience partnering with other designers, writers and outside resources to implement marketing campaigns.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce design elements for print, websites, product graphics, social media, banners, and email campaigns.
  • Work closely with internal departments to create a wide variety of design materials from concept through to completion.
  • Develop a company deck/template for department presentations, PR
    and stakeholders.
  • Conduct image, music and VFX research to create a resource library.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry design trends.
  • Manage, at times, a high volume of requests, both unique and cyclical,
    in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to gain input on the most effective and cohesive approach to creative communication.
  • Prioritize deadlines to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Coordinate print and digital production needs with internal partners, as needed.
  • Ability to juggle various and often conflicting priorities, a positive attitude in response to feedback and last-minute changes in direction, and a steady approach during peak deliverable timeframes.
  • Support Sales Events with promotional assets (booklets, banners, etc.) as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College or University education in the Creative field or equivalent technical degree.
  • 5-6 years’ experience in Creative design roles, preferably in a high-volume environment that required exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • High-level of proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat), MS Office Suite and Google Suite.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Design experience across print, digital, mobile, and video platforms (social media and web design)
  • Strong creative skill-set to ensure the brand is positively reflected and consistent across all creative communications and mediums.
  • A solid understanding of grammar and punctuation.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional problem-solving and project management abilities that’s able to meet weekly deadlines.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Familiarity with Web UX & UI Design.
  • Working knowledge of Motion Design.
  • Experience working with influencers.
  • Copywriting and copy editing capabilities.
